1. Introduction
Welcome to Tevuna Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our digital marketplace (“Platform”), which connects customers with independent grocery stores, food vendors, and producers. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Definitions
- Platform: The website, app, and related digital services operated by Tevuna Ltd.
- User/Customer: Any individual purchasing or browsing products.
- Vendor: A business listing and selling products on the Platform.
- Products: Food and grocery items sold.
- Logistics Partner: Approved third parties providing delivery services.
3. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering agreements. Vendors must hold valid food business registration and comply with local authority and UK food hygiene regulations.
4. Nature of Service
The Platform acts as a facilitator connecting Vendors and Customers. We do not store or handle food directly but coordinate delivery via approved logistics partners, collection at storefronts, and other authorised fulfilment channels. We are not a party to the sale contract between Vendor and Customer.
5. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors must maintain valid food business registration and hygiene ratings, list only compliant products, accurately describe items, ensure safe packaging, cooperate with logistics partners, and comply with all relevant laws. Non-compliance may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate delivery information, inspect goods upon delivery, and acknowledge that variations may occur due to independent Vendors. Customers are responsible for safe use of purchased goods.
7. Orders and Payments
Orders are processed via secure payment gateways. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may cancel or reject fraudulent transactions.
8. Delivery, Collection, and Logistics
Delivery and collection options vary. We coordinate delivery through logistics partners, storefront collections, or authorised channels. Product responsibility transfers to the customer upon receipt.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations depend on Vendor policies and UK consumer laws. Perishable goods are non-returnable unless damaged or unsafe. Disputes are handled through the Platform but refunds are the Vendor's responsibility.
10. Fees and Commissions
The Platform charges Vendors commissions or service fees per sale, deducted automatically. Rates are detailed in Vendor agreements and may change with notice.
11. Intellectual Property
All Platform content belongs to Tevuna Ltd. Vendors retain their brand and imagery but grant a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for listing and marketing.
12. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
13. Prohibited Activities
Users and Vendors must not sell illegal goods, falsify information, breach food laws, interfere with operations, or use the Platform for unlawful purposes. Violations may result in account termination.
14. Limitation of Liability
We provide services "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for product quality, Vendor actions, or indirect damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15. Indemnification
Users and Vendors agree to indemnify Tevuna Ltd against claims arising from misuse, breach, or unlawful activities.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, regulatory breaches, fraud, or misuse, with or without notice.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
18. Amendments
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
